Feeding San Diego’s Thanksgiving Food Drive

November 1-23

San Diego restaurants Cork & Craft, Glass Box, and Zen Modern Asian Bistro are teaming up with Feeding San Diego for a Thanksgiving food drive. The restaurants are offering a discount for donating nonperishable food items, and the food collected will be delivered to Feeding San Diego at the end of the drive to provide holiday meals.

​​Kaminskiy Gives Back 2025

November 1-14

The San Diego-based Kaminskiy Group is seeking nominations of families who have overcome, give back to their communities, or are otherwise exceptional for a donated $50,000 home transformation. The winner of Kaminskiy Gives Back 2025 will be announced Nov. 24.

Emilio Nares Foundation’s Holiday Smiles Campaign

November 5

The Emilio Nares Foundation is launching its Holiday Smiles campaign, an eight-week initiative to benefit patients and families at Rady Children’s Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Orange County. The nonprofit is collecting money and toy donations to host holiday parties for patients and year-long ENF programs. 

Shelter to Soldier Salute to Paws 5K and Gratitude Festival

November 9

Shelter to Soldier will celebrate our four-legged family members at its second annual Salute to Paws 5K & Gratitude Festival at Fox Point Farms in Encinitas. The event will include a fun run, an all-levels yoga flow, and a pet-focused festival with vendors, live music, and adoptable dogs.

Ronald McDonald House Charities’ 34th Annual Golf Tournament

November 10

Tee off to support families of hospitalized children at the 34th Annual Golf Tournament benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities. The tournament at the Pauma Valley Country Club helps Ronald McDonald House provide temporary lodging, meals, and other services. 

Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions 4th Annual Torchbearer Ball 

November 15

Guests at Veterans Exploring Treatment Solutions’ 4th Annual Torchbearer Ball will celebrate the release of feature documentary In Waves and War chronicling the journeys of three former Navy SEALs. The gala the Hotel del Coronado will support VETS’ mission to end veteran suicide and expand access to psychedelic-assisted therapies. 

Father Joe’s Villages Run for Hope Thanksgiving 5K

November 27

Father Joe’s Villages’ annual Run for Hope Thanksgiving Day 5K in Balboa Park will raise money for the nonprofits meal program for homeless San Diegans. Father Joe’s Villages’ “Turkey Trot” is San Diego’s longest-standing event dedicated to this cause. 

Cruise 4 Kids Teddy Ball

November 29

Cruise 4 Kids Teddy BallNonprofit fundraising organization Cruise 4 Kids will collect teddy bears to distribute to various children’s charities at its annual Teddy Ball. The black-tie affair will include a red carpet, freestyle fashion show, exotic cars, and plenty of photo ops.
