Duke’s La Jolla
1216 Prospect Street
La Jolla
Taking over the 13,000-square-foot, two-floor space once occupied by Top of the Cove, Duke’s La Jolla has opened in the landmark location, ushering in poke, Tahitian octopus, and other fare inspired by the Pacific Rim. The chain of surf-culture eateries, which launched in Hawaii before expanding to Huntington Beach and Malibu, also serves an extensive drink menu (lavender colada, anyone?) and is decked out in original surfboards on loan from the pros, as well as artwork featuring La Jolla beaches. Hang ten!
