St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival

March 16, 2013

Festival opens at 9am, flag-raising at 9:45am, parade begins at 10:30am.

Balboa Park

The Irish Congress of Southern California has once again turned Balboa Park into a Celtic village. At 10:30am, over 120 entrants begin marching at 6th Avenue and Juniper Street to celebrate the Gaelic Athletic Association.


North County St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival

March 16, 2013

9:00 am – 4:00 pm

This family-friendly event in historical downtown Vista awards three possible prizes for parade participants: Best 30-Second Performance, Best Irish Theme and Best Dog Costume. After the parade, try your hand in the Village Scavenger Hunt For Gold (valued at $200!), listen to limerick readings, and enjoy games, a beer garden, and live music.

Standard parade entry is $35, Dog Entry is $5

St. Patrick’s Day 10K run, 2- and 4-mile run/walk
