Feeding San Diego is hosting its third annual signature event, Pairings with a Purpose this Saturday, April 14, 2018. It’s a afternoon of culinary competition with 30 of San Diego’s finest chefs, breweries and wineries, uniting against hunger in San Diego. Each chef and beverage duo will collaborate to create a special pairing of food and drink including Chef Jason McCleod from Born & Raised, Trey Foshee, David Waite, and Top Chef, Angelo Sosa as some of the featured chefs along with Bagby, Modern Times Brewery, Hess, Green Flash and more. Guests can vote on their favorite pairing while enjoying music, a silent auction, raffles, games and contests. The fundraiser will be hosted on Saturday, April 14 from 12pm to 4pm at Bobby Riggs Tennis Club & Museum in scenic Encinitas.
Currently, nearly half a million San Diego residents, including 1 in 5 children, are struggling with hunger. Feeding San Diego is working to meet their immediate needs, while creating a long-term impact in the community through a comprehensive approach to hunger-relief. 100% of proceeds from the event benefit Feeding San Diego.
Tickets are $75 for General Admission and $150 for VIP (which includes early admission at 11am, exclusive parking, and a goodie bag). 100% of the proceeds will benefit Feeding San Diego and its critical hunger-relief and nutrition programs.
