Located on the grounds of the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina, with sweeping views of San Diego Harbor, Roy’s Restaurant is your premier destination for intimate gatherings to events of 500 guests and more. Completely renovated in December of 2023, the aesthetic blends mid-century modern with a hint of the tropics. Subtle touches like bamboo chandeliers and teal blue club chairs in the Wine Room create a comfortable retreat. The Big Island Room is an expansive, terraced space with unobstructed views, state of the art audio-visual equipment, a spacious pre-function area and private outdoor patio. Outside, our Lanai features a large u-shape bar, fire pit and seating for 150 guests, with receptions to 300.
Founded by culinary visionary Roy Yamaguchi, Roy’s continues to push boundries with creative Hawaiian fusion dishes inspired by Asian flavors and classic European techniques. Driven to serve only the finest ingredients for our guests, our Chef sources the freshest produce, seafood, and USDA Prime beef from local farmers and family owned fishing boats. Hawaiian fish like our sushi-grade tuna and scallops from Georges Bank are flown in fresh daily, and farm to table growers ensure that our cuisine is of the highest quality.
