The grounds of the luxury hotel were transformed into Buenos Aires for the sixth annual gala, which raised $525,000 to support families and children experiencing medical hardship. Around 300 guests were entertained by open-air performances from Evita and music by American Idol winner David Cook. The event is known for its high-end auction prizes: This year, one lucky winner chose between a 2016 Porsche Cayman and $50,000 that was donated by Hoehn Motors of Carlsbad.
