The tenth annual outdoor concert at Illumina’s headquarters raised more than $420,000 for Rady Children’s Hospital’s Neurotherapy Center. Arranged by the hospital’s Carmel Valley Auxiliary, the sold-out show featured a performance by Grammy Award–winning artist Rob Thomas and music by DJ Mike, and cocktail and food stations from Miho Catering. A live auction gave guests the chance to bid for a surgical mission to Nicaragua with Dr. Michael Levy, director of Rady Children’s Neurotherapy Center; a jersey signed by all 23 members of the U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team; and a trip to Zihuatanejo, Mexico.
