The second half of 2025 is officially underway, and there are plenty of fun things to do in San Diego this month. With the Fourth of July and Comic-Con behind us, locals’ summer is just now heating up. August brings a packed calendar of San Diego events, from the return of the world’s largest tiki celebration to live concerts featuring Grammy-winning artist Kali Uchis, and even a local lemon festival. Art lovers can explore new exhibits from Basque artist Eduardo Chillida, a dance-inspired gallery from Alex Katz, and a showcase celebrating surf-inspired art.
