The grand opening of Auberge Resort Collection’s new The Lodge at Blue Sky next month is an excellent reason to literally head for the hills.
Perched just outside Park City, Utah, the lodge spans 3,500 acres on a private estate in the wilderness of the Wasatch Mountains. Wake up and explore the hillsides with a morning horseback ride, followed by breakfast cooked cowboy style in a cauldron over an open campfire, then you can fly fish in a private, spring-fed creek or take a hike toward The Tavern at Blue Sky, a remote saloon in an alpine field.
Before retiring to your ranch suite for the night, sip a locally made bourbon or rye whiskey at High West Distillery, or gather for a meal under the stars by an outdoor fire pit at the Sky Lodge restaurant. Life on the ranch never sounded so luxurious.
