In her own words:

“What a dream to style three professional women who have been incredibly successful in their fields. During the shoot we discussed everything from work history, family, travel, all while networking. The energy in the studio was intensely good and supportive, I think everyone was thriving. Often, a fashion shoot is an opportunity to present my fashion perspective but this shoot was refreshing. My perspective was balanced with real women, helping them to articulate their style, which is what I love to do at Vocabulary Boutique on the daily.”

Kerri Verbeke Kapich

“In researching the women before the shoot I saw tendencies in their professional images. Kerry is sophisticated, feminine and professional. She brings a fashion forward edge to her corporate attire, but  I was excited to get her out of a blazer and into the soft silk dress. She was radiant in the dress which seemed made for her. First pick a hit? My favorite way to play.”

Deborah Scott

“Deborah is mostly photographed in her chef’s coat. I wanted to relax her just a bit and present her in an alternative, professional light. Deborah, to me, is a rock star, and her looks started with her shoes, which she then took home… SCORE! It was fun to work with her own garments, a collaborative effort is more personal.”

Brunhilde Felding

“Brunie is an absolute dream to work with. She is a scientist with a very clear sense of her self. I found myself pulling pieces for her that were scientific in some way. We found pieces that worked with her personal style and petite figure. Ultimately, the goal was to represent what a power house she is.”
