Instructors from the much-praised Yoga One studio will lead free 60-minute classes in outdoor spots around town such as The Headquarters, County Waterfront Park, Port of San Diego parks and more on Saturday mornings.

San Diego’s adundantly amazing farms deliver a bounty of wholesome foods during summer time, so the folks at Jimbo’s. . . Naturally are hosting interactive cooking classes with certified nutritionists from Scripps Health. Tap into your inner chef and learn how to make delicious organic meals at these complimentary classes, held at Jimbo’s in Westfield Horton Plaza.
Swing into Summer
Jump into summer fun with jitterbug lessons, or elevate your heart rate while learning the Lindy Hop with Swing Dancing San Diego. These free 30-minute classes and one-hour social dances happen all summer long at either the U.S. Bank’s downtown branch or the Broadway Pier. Upcoming class July 23.
Pilates in the Park
Strengthen your core while enjoying the fresh sea breeze at a free mat Pilates class taught by the experts from Broadway Athletic and Swim Club at downtown’s newest park, Lane Field. The kick-off class is Thursday, July 16 (on the patio at U.S. Bank downtown), with monthly Lane Field classes to follow.
Art and Wine
Take time to relax during a free Canvas Painting class taught by the artists from Wine and Canvas San Diego at U.S. Bank’s downtown Branch on Sept. 17 from 6-7 p.m.
For the second year, hundreds of yoga enthusiasts boarded the USS Midway for an early call to do yoga on the flight deck. Look for more yoga classes around town this summer.
