Burgeon at the Grove‘s floor-to-ceiling accordion windows open toward the Paseo Arts Village, a development that offers affordable housing to artists, veterans, seniors, and more. Mackenzie Kline, Burgeon Beer’s marketing director, says being a part of the Artist Village was a huge draw for the team when scouting for new locations. “When you get people like artists to live in your community, that brings something so different. It breathes life into a community,” she explains, adding they plan to constantly showcase and rotate artwork by local artists in the 1,820-square-foot space.
Still, we wondered, with such a strong presence already in North County, why open another location there? Kline tells us that a core part of the Burgeon ethos is growing strategically and sustainably in order to keep their carbon footprint as small as possible. Read more about the opening here.
