About the Event

The Carlsbad Village Association invites visitors to celebrate Valentine’s Day with the return of “Hearts of Carlsbad Village,” a week-long celebration of love, community and coastal charm taking place February 7–14, 2026.

Explore for Hidden Hearts | Saturday, February 7 – Friday, February 13
Shop, stroll and dine in Carlsbad Village as 250 hearts (35 per day) are hidden during business hours.

Give Blood, Give Love | Saturday, February 14
Donate blood at the official Hearts of Carlsbad Village Blood Drive at Barrio Glassworks. Donors receive a blown glass heart as a thank-you for saving lives.

Hearts Scavenger Hunt | Saturday, February 14
Register for one of 250 scavenger hunt cards and enjoy a 90-minute adventure throughout the Village. Complete the scavenger card and you’re guaranteed a blown glass heart.
