Queer Salsa Sunsets at the Park

Join us in the park for an evening of connection, music, and dance featuring a free beginner workshop led by Michelle and Latin sounds by DJ Pat. This gathering is all about creating community, building friendships, and growing the queer Latin dance scene in San Diego.

Whether you’ve never danced before or already love Latin dance, this is a welcoming space to move, learn, and connect with others through Salsa, Bachata, and other Latin dance styles all while getting some sun and fresh air.

Our hope is to encourage more queer folks to try dancing, explore a fun and empowering activity, and build connections from local socials to dance events across the country, or internationally.

You can choose to lead (initiate movements) or follow (respond to movements) no gender roles or expectations required.
