Hey, Theater Lovers!

Don't forget that San Diego is a theater town.

By Kimberly Cunningham

In case you missed it, we crafted a super-thorough and wildly entertaining Fall Arts Preview earlier this month.  In it, we gently urge you to take advantage all the art and culture that this city has to offer, from ballet to the symphony to the opera to new museum exhibitions.

We also highlight the thriving local theater scene. San Diego is home to two Tony Award-Winning regional theater companies, The Old Globe and La Jolla Playhouse. And there are also great independent companies producing some fabulous, cutting-edge, top-quality work.

Not a big fan of the theater? We’ve got your back, and created this fun, interactive guide to help you choose the show that’s best for you. Click the image to enlarge.

The Old Globe has two shows opening next week, The Few and The Last Goodbye. La Jolla Playhouse will host it’s highly anticipated Without Walls Festival October 3-6. And coming soon: Priscilla Queen of the Desert arrives at the Civic Theatre.

Curtain up. Light the lights. We’ll see you there!
