An Enchanted (and Delicious) Evening by the Bay to Support Music Education
—Charlie Trotter
San Diego Magazine is pleased to co-sponsor the 2nd Annual Loving Local Music and Local Food, benefiting Jazz 88.3 music education programs for students throughout San Diego County. The event, which features waterfront dining prepared by celebrated local chefs, swing music and a silent auction, will take place at Driscoll Wharf in Point Loma.
Organizer LJ Livingston, owner of Your Neighbor On Call, a local personal services provider, says she designed Loving Local Music and Local Food with the guest experience and the environment in mind. “Our priority is the comfort and enjoyment of our guests. After the welcome cocktails and appetizers, they’re going to be able to sit down to a gourmet four-course meal and relax and build community. We’re providing the very best local ingredients prepared by top-flight local chefs. Each course is paired with a local wine and served on the waterfront.”
We are delighted to have the gracious support of so many local purveyors and vendors, not the least of which are the students under the guidance of Tina Luu at the Art Institute – San Diego Culinary School.
The convivial and elegant dining experience will be augmented for VIP ticket holders, who will enjoy valet parking, early admission, unlimited drinks, a gift bag, special seating and access to a special Chef’s Viewing Station hosted by Venissimo Cheese. VIP guests will also enjoy contributions of organic coffee in our VIP thank you bags provided from Jill Bergmann, with Peerless Coffee & Tea, and repurposed wine bottle plates donated by BottleHood, just to name a few.
