The 2013 annual auction at The Bishop’s School featured a rousing musical performance by former Van Halen frontman Sammy Hagar. The fundraiser, co-chaired by Bishop’s parents Janna and Marco Monroy and Tina and David Thomas, benefitted the school’s student need-based financial aid and faculty professional growth programs. Hot-ticket auction items included a ski trip to Park City, a week at the Four Seasons in Maui, and a private concert by musician Steve Poltz.
