Ghost Light Masquerade 2024

About the Event

San Diego’s premier contemporary ballet company, invites you to Ghost Light Masquerade—an immersive ballet experience that has become a holiday favorite.

Ghost Light Masquerade conjures realm of enchantment and mystery, where the boundaries between reality and fantasy blur. Inspired by the theatrical superstition of the “ghost light,” a single bulb left burning on an empty stage to ward off mischievous spirits, this production illuminates untold stories through mesmerizing choreography, audience interactions, and hauntingly beautiful dance.

In this immersive performance, the audience is not just a spectator but a part of the narrative. With no designated seating, you are free to wander among the eerie stages and dark corners, guided by the spirits of the Ghost Light. As the night unfolds, the stage becomes a canvas for a spellbinding masquerade, where secrets and specters are revealed in a dance that defies the ordinary.

Don your most enigmatic mask—or borrow one from us—and join the procession of lost souls in a night of ethereal beauty. For those who require it, seating accommodations will be provided, but for the adventurous, this is an opportunity to explore, walk, or even dance amidst the flickering glow of the ghost light.
Ghost Light Masquerade is not just a performance—it’s an experience. Step into a world where every movement tells a story, and every shadow holds a secret.

General Admission tickets are available for purchase online starting at $60 per person. For more information on The Rosin Box Project, please visit www.therosinboxproject.com
