Party ARTy for ArtReach will celebrate its 5th anniversary on Sept. 15 at the Carlson residence in Del Mar. ArtReach takes professional artists into K-6 classrooms throughout San Diego County to provide unique stardards-based, sequential visual art education workshops with an emphasis on providing free workshops to schools with no or scant art resources. “In 2008 we began ArtReach with one pilot workshop. We worked with one school and about 400 kids. Since then, we have worked with thousands of students teaching art skills while helping youngsters gain confidence and practice creative thinking,” said Executive Director Judy Berman Silbert.

San Diego will be the fifth Camp Mariposa location nationwide.
