Las Patronas’ Jewel Ball 2024

This year’s Las Patronas’ Jewel Ball is themed “Meet Me in Marrakesh” and will feature handmade decor by the organization’s active members. It will be held on August 3 at the La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club and proceeds benefit various local nonprofits that the org partners with.
Wine Vine Uncorked Carlsbad Tasting Event

Casa de Amparo and Rotary Club of Carlsbad are hosting their annual Uncorked event which will take place on August 3. Guests will enjoy local wine tastings and foods as well as a silent auction to support North County charities and nonprofits dedicated to helping vulnerable communities.
Living Coast Discovery Center’s Farm to Bay Fundraiser

Farm to Bay, the Living Coast Discovery Center’s popular summer tasting event, returns for its 15th year on Saturday, Aug. 3. The event brings together South Bay’s favorite food and beverage partners for an evening of sampling, live music, and up-close animal encounters. Funds raised will support the nonprofit.
Symphony at Salk’s Concert Under the Stars

“Concert Under the Stars,” the annual Symphony at Salk, will take place on August 17, 2024. The evening, held in the Salk Institute’s courtyard overlooking the ocean, will feature a performance by the San Diego Symphony with special guests David Foster, the 16-time Grammy Award-winning musician, composer, and producer; and Katharine McPhee, acclaimed singer and television/Broadway star.
GenerateHope’s Summer Garden Party

GenerateHope’s Summer Garden Party will take place on August 17 to benefit survivors of sex trafficking. The event will be held in the garden of a historic Coronado mansion. Special guests include former Ambassador John Cotton Richmond, San Diego DA Summer Stephan and live music by Ryan Hiller.
Sharp HospiceCare Benefit Dinner and Regatta
August 23 – 24
The annual Sharp HospiceCare Benefit Dinner and Regatta will be held on Friday and Saturday, August 23-24, 2024. Sharp HospiceCare, Coronado Yacht Club, and Cortez Racing Association will host the events. Guests can enjoy a pre-race dinner and silent auction on Friday followed by all-day festivities on Saturday aboard a boat. All proceeds from the regatta support Sharp HospiceCare.
