About the Event

The Rosin Box Project (TRBP), San Diego’s premier contemporary ballet company, is proud to present DEBUTS, an electrifying triple bill of world premiere works by renowned choreographers Garrett Smith, Ching Ching Wong, and TRBP Artistic Director Carly Topazio.

Performances will take place August 22–24 at California Center for the Arts, inviting audiences to the forefront of contemporary ballet innovation.

DEBUTS celebrates the power of artistic risk, highlighting the choreographers’ inaugural collaborations with TRBP’s ensemble of boundary-pushing artists. Each new work explores themes of transformation, identity, and human connection through bold physicality, cinematic storytelling, and genre-defying movement.
