Dinner and Book Reading with Omali Yeshitela, Chairman of the African People’s Socialist Party and leader of the Uhuru Movement. His latest book, “The Verdict Is In: Reparations Now!” highlights testimonies from the 1982 First World Tribunal on Reparations to African People in the U.S., where he served as People’s Advocate.

Learn about the over 50 years struggle for the democratic rights for African and oppressed peoples of the world, an update on the struggle for reparations today, why the struggle for reparations must continue, what is genuine solidarity in the liberation struggle, and why reparations is a revolutionary demand.

Speakers include: Chairman Omali Yeshitela, and solidarity statements by Penny Hess and Jesse Nevel, two Uhuru Solidarity leaders who work under the leadership of the APSP to organize white people in solidarity with the black community’s demand for reparations.
