Interested in a one-of-a-kind Murals tour?
Murals of La Jolla will be offering a special, one-day-only walking tour as part of the next installment of Growing Together! Explore five nearby Murals of La Jolla public artworks while enjoying the family-friendly activities and creative community spirit of Growing Together. These guided walks offer a unique opportunity to discover the stories behind La Jolla’s public art and the place it holds in our community.

Walking Tours begin at Museum of History and Culture La Jolla, 780 Prospect Street, La Jolla
If you can’t make the guided murals tour, we will be offering a self-guided map as well.

Art workshop with Chikle:
Come explore the art of Traditional Tattoos, where every image tells a story! We’ll draw, talk, and trade stories as you create your own original commemorative design, guided by local educator, muralist, and storyteller Chikle!

Never picked up a pencil? No worries! We’ll have plenty of coloring sheets, tattoo flash, and inspiration to get those creative juices flowing. Come ready to make something, share a story, and have a good time!

We can’t wait to see you at our next Growing Together event!

This program is made possible through the generous support of the M&I Pfister Foundation.
