About the Event

The Friends of Oak Park Library presents Jazz at Oak Park: A Celebration of Juneteenth, featuring a live musical performance by the Young Lions Jazz Conservatory, a nonprofit founded by world-renowned jazz trumpeter and educator Gilbert Castellanos. Join us at the Oak Park Library on Saturday, June 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to enjoy some great music, food and fun activities while learning about the significance of Juneteenth and the rich history of jazz music.
