Come immerse yourself in the world of puppetry over several days with artists from San Diego Guild of Puppetry!
8/18 Try Your Hand @ Puppetry! A raucous, interactive romp with many diverse large and small puppets from mostly
recycled materials. Family friendly.
8/19 Shadow Puppetry – Introduction to the ancient/contemporary art form, interactive, and puppetmaking to follow.
8/20 Marionette show – Kathy Felker Puppet Productions, “Jungle Strings and Furry Things” originated for the SD
Nighttime Zoo, features endangered species. Family friendlyl
8/21 Giant Puppet Workshop – start your own giant puppet out of unique, recognizable materials. Learn manipulation
tips.
8/22 OPEN HOUSE: 2-5PM History, pop-ups, exhibit, demos, schmooze, and a puppet giveaway.
