Rubio’s Drops Price and Boosts Burrito Size on National Burrito Day

Celebrate National Burrito Day on Thursday, April 3, at Rubio’s Coastal Grill. The annual deal, which is one of Rubio’s most popular days, features both a price drop and portion size increase for 2025. Starting today, Rubio’s is increasing the standard protein portion in chicken, steak and shrimp burritos by 25%. The additional protein marks a permanent upgrade to the burritos moving forward, in a response to guest feedback. Burrito pricing will not be increased.

On April 3, guests can order multiple burritos for $7.99 each, including the new Hot Honey Shrimp Burrito, California Burrito, Shrimp and Bacon Burrito, and the Chicken Burrito Especial. No additional purchase is necessary. Simply order through the Rubio’s app and use promo code BURRITO online or at checkout.

Rubio’s guests in California, Nevada and Arizona can earn free drinks, desserts, tacos and entrées by joining Rubio’s Rewards. Members can sign up online or through the Rubio’s App, and start earning points toward free food.
