The Rosin Box Project Presents: EMPOWER

About the Event

A Bold Celebration of Women’s Voices in Dance

The Rosin Box Project invites you to step into the heart of artistic innovation with Empower, an electrifying evening of dance that kicks off the company’s highly anticipated 2025 Season: AXIOM. From March 27–30, audiences will gather at the intimate Light Box Theater in ARTS DISTRICT, Liberty Station, to witness the unveiling of three brand-new creations by San Diego’s brightest emerging female choreographers and a stunning commissioned work by internationally renowned guest artist Natasha Adorlee.

At the forefront of Empower is Natasha Adorlee, an award-winning choreographer celebrated for her groundbreaking multidisciplinary collective, Concept o4. Known for pushing the boundaries of contemporary dance through the fusion of movement, sound, and visual artistry, Adorlee’s work for Empower promises a mesmerizing journey into the avant-garde, where raw emotion meets striking innovation.

Joining Adorlee are two San Diego-based powerhouse choreographers, Bethany Green and Carly Topazio. Green, revered for her poignant storytelling and intricate choreography, will debut a piece that invites audiences to connect deeply with the beauty of human vulnerability and resilience. Meanwhile, Topazio, The Rosin Box Project’s founding Artistic Director, brings her signature athleticism and bold creativity to the stage, unveiling a vibrant and modern work that embodies the essence of empowerment.
