Sunday Supper at Herringbone is Chef Amanda Baumgarten’s weekly prix-fixe menu. You choose between two apps, two entrees and a dessert for $35. Nothing new about the menu setup but now, Sunday Super will curate dinner around a different worldly cuisine each month. The first month was a shout-out to our neighbors with dishes from Baja, Oaxaca, Jalisco and Yucatan. In March, they’re moving east to French or Indian (no telling which yet) and summer should bring loads of BBQ.
Here’s the menu:
Appetizers: Chicken and Black Mole Tamales OR Chorizo, Black Bean and Quesillo Tlayuda (an upscale tostada).
Entrees: Kid Goat Barbacoa with Mole Amarillo OR Grilled Snapper with Mole Verde.
Dessert: Dark Chocolate and Chili Tart.
