Last December, Abhi Adappa and his family had a Christmas vacation they’ll never forget. The first day was what holiday memories are made of, but the second day, everything changed. Abhi was severely injured in a boogie boarding accident. He was taken to a local hospital, where it was confirmed that he’d broken his C1 and C2 vertebrae.
