Conveniently located amid an array of family-friendly outdoor activities, The Cassara Carlsbad is a Tapestry Collection by Hilton hotel that was completely redesigned in 2020. The resort provides summer travelers plenty of ways to enjoy one of the most beautiful locales in the world, said Charity Deschaine, Corporate Director of Marketing & Revenue Management for Grand Pacific Resorts, which owns The Cassara Carlsbad.

The property boasts 119 modern rooms with King or Two Queen options, including King Peloton rooms for those looking to keep up their wellness routines. There’s also 29 recently added Family Suites that provide more sleeping and privacy options, such as a separate room with a TV and two twin beds for kids, along with a king bed and TV in the main room. And not only is The Cassara conveniently located adjacent to LEGOLAND, the resort also offers a private walking entrance to the theme park.
“The pedestrian side entrance across from our hotel is very convenient for coming back and forth from the park for breaks, nap times, and even lunch,” Deschaine said. “Parents have shown great appreciation for that shortcut!”

Exciting Activities for Kids
The Cassara Carlsbad provides a variety of amenities and activities for kids, including a family pool with interactive water toys and a splash pad. The Activities Center supplies complimentary pool toys and features a game room. To keep kids active, The Cassara offers foosball, table tennis, a playground, and a half basketball court.

Families can also bond over barbecue cookouts using the resort’s gas grills, with a nearby Costco for supplies. For evening fun, families can grab S’mores kits from the Activity Center and gather around the resort’s many fire pits.
