Talk about an all-star collaboration. John Malashock of Malashock Dance and conductor-composer-lyricist Krishan Oberoi of SACRA/PROFANA are coming together to present the world premiere of Snakeskin, which combines choral music, contemporary dance, and drama. The story, set in a small Southern town and inspired by the work of Tennessee Williams, tells of human struggle with themes of isolation and prejudices still found in society. Eight members of the young choral ensemble SACRA/PROFANA will both sing and play instruments on stage in folk and rock style, as eight Malashock dancers tell the story through movement.

May 15 to 17 at the UC San Diego Forum Theater.
