Get ready to have the time of your life when Dirty Dancing swings into the Civic Theatre this month. Set in the summer of 1963 in New York’s Catskill Mountains, the Broadway adaptation of the hit film follows 17-year-old Frances “Baby” Houseman’s family vacation turned dance lesson of a lifetime when she meets hunky instructor Johnny Castle. The romantic tale features all of the original heart-throbbing hits, like “Hungry Eyes,” “Hey! Baby,” and “Do You Love Me?” plus erotic twists, dips, and of course, lifts.
