About the Event

Celebrate America’s 250th anniversary at the Anchored in Freedom Parade & Community Festival on Friday, July 3 at Liberty Station. This free, family-friendly event kicks off with a patriotic parade from 1–3 PM along Cushing Road, featuring themed floats honoring freedom, service, and community. The celebration continues with a community festival from 3–5 PM at Ingram Plaza, offering live music from the Navy Band Southwest, food vendors, a wing-eating contest, costume contest, kids activities, and more. Held on the historic grounds of the former Naval Training Center, this special event brings together neighbors and visitors for an afternoon of celebration, remembrance, and community connection.
