As Gen Z enters the workforce and rethinks how to develop their careers, San Diego Workforce Partnership’s free quarterly speaker series, San Diego at Work Community Conversations, returns with “The Future of Work is Both,” featuring entrepreneur and professional development leader Ymorah Blakeney.

The dynamic conversation will explore how emerging professionals can use traditional employment as a launchpad to develop the skills, relationships, and experience needed to advance their careers, grow a business, or pursue both paths simultaneously. Attendees will gain practical insights into navigating today’s evolving workforce and create opportunities for long-term success. A free lunch will be provided.

Ymorah Blakeney is the founder of The Up & Coming, a professional development and personal branding platform for emerging professionals and entrepreneurs. Blakeney is also participating in a Fortune 500 leadership accelerator while growing her company.
