Sir Chris Topher’s Drawing Safari at Art Scene West Gallery

An unforgettable art activity where you’ll learn about amazing animals, their habitats, and discover how to draw them.

Step into the extraordinary world of Sir Chris Topher—Scottish-born conservationist, naturalist, artist, and time traveler, knighted by King George V in the 1910s.

During this unique, interactive drawing safari, Sir Chris Topher brings his remarkable travels and adventures to life as he shares his passion for African wildlife, the habitats they depend upon, and the importance of protecting them for generations to come.

Children and families will receive drawing supplies and learn directly from a professional artist and art teacher, combining art, exploration, natural history, and conservation in an unforgettable experience.

Hosted inside Art Scene West in San Diego’s Seaport Village, this intimate event is designed for children, adults, aspiring artists, animal lovers, and curious minds alike. Come prepared to observe, draw, ask questions, and perhaps see the natural world through the eyes of an explorer from another time.
