Very Important Taco: Fish Taco

Salud

Mostly true to the classic Baja style, the fish tacos at Salud have a few twists. First, the beer battered fish is catfish, topped with just the right dressing of cold, crunchy cabbage and then a little cotija and house sauce. From there, it’s up to you to take them over the top with a visit to the extensive salsa bar. There are six different housemade varieties, from classic chile de arbol and pico de gallo to fancier options like a creamy avocado-laced salsa and a smokey chipotle version. Add tableside guacamole and a Tijuana-brewed beer, and  it’s a good day.
