The brothers behind Insurgente Cerveceria, one of Tijuana’s most popular craft breweries, have been busy. In addition to opening a new facility that more than doubled their brewing capacity, Ivan and Damien (Chula Vista natives who started the brewery while in business school at USC) also recently collaborated with Stone Brewing Co. on Xocoveza Mocha Stout, a milk stout that riffs on Mexican hot chocolate with flavors like vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
