About the Event

This course gives students the basic tools needed to successfully understand and communicate in Italian. After this course, students should be able to greet others, introduce themselves, ask for information and directions, talk about themselves and others, and describe people, things, and places. This introductory course develops Italian language acquisition through listening, speaking, reading, and writing. It covers basic Italian pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar. It also explores the history, geography, and customs of the Italian-speaking world.
