Walden Family Services & Sempra Energy

Employees of Sempra Energy volunteered their time to paint a safari themed mural in the San Diego offices Gr’mere’s I’mpossible playroom at Walden Family Services. Volunteers worked for two days to transform the space with blue skies, green grass, and all the animals of the grasslands. The family who endowed the playroom did so in memory of their grandmother, and wanted a positive message for the foster youth who play there.  Gr’mere is French for ‘grandmother’ and I’mpossible  is “I’m possible”

Emilio Nares Foundation is presenting its 10th annual Harvest for Hope to be held at Stingaree downtown.
