Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary: Women of Dedication Luncheon

For its 50th year, the auxiliary honored 15 of the community’s most dedicated volunteers. All proceeds from the luncheon benefit local charities. 

The Impact

Centre City Community Corps in downtown San Diego was one recipient of $168,000 in funds raised. The Centre provides the needy with gas cards, rental and food assistance, blankets and toiletries, and hosts cooking classes for volunteers. The Centre feeds the homeless five nights a week.
