Broken Yolk Café and Project Hope Alliance 2026 Graduation Partnership

About the Event

Broken Yolk Café is proudly hosting a fundraiser May 27 through June 5, and every Saturday in June, to support 61 local students experiencing homelessness through graduation. When the fundraiser is mentioned to your Broken Yolk Café server, 10% of proceeds from the purchase will be donated to Project Hope Alliance. The grand total raised will be donated at the end of June. Proceeds will help fund caps and gowns, senior activities, and summer support. Participating locations are Orange, Costa Mesa, Buena Park, Irvine, and Phoenix.
Four of Broken Yolk Café’s Orange County locations in Orange, Buena Park, Irvine, and Costa Mesa, are locations proudly owned and operated by San Diego-based hospitality group, Grain & Grit Collective. The group also oversees a Broken Yolk Café in Phoenix, along with the popular Carnitas Snack Shack in San Diego and at Petco Park. Across all locations, Grain & Grit remains committed to delivering high-quality food, warm hospitality, and a strong sense of community at every table.
Project Hope Alliance is an Orange County, California-based non-profit dedicated to ending the cycle of homelessness, one child at a time. . They provide long-term, one-on-one care, embedding case managers directly on school campuses to support children, teens, and young adults from kindergarten up to age 24. Education transforms lives, and when children experiencing homelessness graduate high school, they are 400% less likely to experience homelessness as adults.
