3rd Annual North Park SALSA FEST Invites Foodies to Crown “Best Salsa” As Local Restaurants Go Head-to-Head in Fiery Competition! North Park SALSA FEST presented by Umpqua Bank returns to heat-up North Park Mini Park on April 20th, 2024.

Mark your calendars, San Diego’s hottest family-friendly foodie competition, North Park SALSA FEST presented by Umpqua Bank invites San Diegans to taste and rate salsas from beloved local restaurants at a vibrant community celebration on Saturday, April 20th, 11:30am-4:30pm at North Park Mini Park.

Spicing-up the heart of San Diego’s North Park neighborhood, known for its creative culinary and cultural scene, the third annual North Park SALSA FEST will feature live music performances, food trucks, a refreshing beer garden, fun kid’s activities, dance performances by students from Jefferson Elementary including ballet folklorico, and of course, popular local restaurants serving their finest salsas for attendees to savor and rate their favorites. The festive community-centered celebration is presented by Umpqua Bank and benefits extracurricular activities for nearly 400 students at Jefferson Elementary School in North Park.

This year’s restaurant line-up promises to be as mouth-watering as last year’s which included crowd pleasers Pete’s Seafood and Sandwich, Mexico Lindo, Subterranean Coffee, Bivouac Ciderworks, and Tribute Pizza, winner of the coveted “Best Salsa” designation at Salsa Fest in 2023. Salsa tasting tickets include a tray of tortilla chips and salsas from each participating restaurant.
