The “City of Lights” took center stage at Las Patronas’ 79th annual Jewel Ball, Back En Pointe, on August 2. The La Jolla Beach & Tennis Club was decked out in luxe Palais Garnier fashion, complete with replicas of the Parisian opera house’s ornate ceiling frescoes. Guests were treated to Champagne, French cuisine, and performances by the professional Golden State Ballet Company and the Aquabatix American Synchronized Swimming Team.
