From Practice Room to Promo: Masterclass in Music Marketing Hits the Right Note

San Diego (2025) — Wizworld productions presents ‘ From Practice Room to Promo’ a free student-led workshop empowering undergrad musicians to market themselves using free campus Resources. Featuring a live performance by the semester’s spotlight band, ‘Girls Got Nerve’ as an example through the process collecting the experience real time.
The masterclass culminates with a presentation of free resources and a live performance by Girls Got Nerve , the all female pop punk band used as a case study throughout the semester. Their journey from rehearsal room to a packed campus show served as a live experiment in DIY promotion, press strategy, and audience engagement, offering classmates a hands-on look at effective music marketing.
With a focus on practical strategies and community empowerment, this event is a call-to-action for student musicians ready to take their careers into their own hands.
Performers: Girls Got Nerve. Trinity (drums,vocals),Toula (Guitar, vocals), Avery (Bass)
Students will be welcome to stay and ask questions as well as receive a free linktree to all the resources utilized during this project.
