Ankur Bindal, MD, MPH, FAPA, FAASM
Dr. Ankur Bindal is the Founder and President of KAB Medical Group Inc (KMG Psychiatry), an integrative psychiatry practice that helps patients heal by providing compassionate, comprehensive, and multifaceted care. KMG Psychiatry works with patients to discover their inner strengths and develop the tools they need to live fulfilling lives—and does so by providing each patient with a unique, individualized care plan.
Dr. Bindal is a board-certified psychiatrist and board-certified sleep specialist with nearly two decades of experience. He works with individuals experiencing everything from depression to sleep disorders to autism spectrum disorders and takes special pride in helping military personnel and underserved populations. He combines traditional treatments, including medication management and counseling, along with innovative treatments, including Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) therapy and intranasal Esketamine (Spravato) treatment, to give their patients the best results.
Dr. Bindal received the Outstanding Leadership Award and the Outstanding Corporation Award by Health Conference 2.0 and was named a 2025 Healthcare Leader of Influence by the San Diego Business Journal. In 2024 and 2025, KMG has been voted Best of San Diego by San Diego Magazine readers. Dr. Bindal serves on multiple boards for AI companies and is a member of the Department of Consumer Affairs’ Structural Pest Control Board.
