About the Event

San Diego Public Library presents Nuestra Cultura, a series celebrating and recognizing the rich heritage, history, contributions and culture of our Latin American and Indigenous communities. Join us at the Oak Park Library for Ojo de Dios crafts, story time with author Alex Montoya and live music from the Manny Cepeda Orchestra. There will be a special piñata giveaway, and children will have the opportunity to receive copies of Montoya’s books, “Alex Masters the Monkey Bars” and “Alex Spills the Candy.” Refreshments will be provided.
