Class 1: Crafty Kids Art Camp (Ages 7–11) with Erica Hurley | Athenaeum School of the Arts, La Jolla

Young artists will dip their brushes into the exciting world of multimedia art! With acrylic paint, watercolors, oil pastels, and more, students will explore a variety of surfaces and materials to bring their imaginations to life. Inspired by popular artists and treasured storybooks, each day is a new adventure celebrating self-expression, encouraging confidence, and spreading the joy of making art. To the canvas and beyond!

Erica Hurley is a third grade teacher at Gillispie School. She recently returned to college and fulfilled her goal of earning a CA single-subject teaching credential in art. She is thrilled to begin a new chapter as an art teacher. She especially enjoys mixed media and three-dimensional art. When she’s not in the classroom, Ms. Hurley can be found spending time with her two children, gardening, baking, and of course, making art!
