San Diego Magazine is excited to launch Hearts of Nursing, a nomination-based, community-wide award celebration that honors nursing professionals for their compassion, sacrifice, fortitude, positive demeanor and unwavering dedication to human life, which coincides perfectly with recent announcement by the World Health Organization that 2020 will be the “Year of the Nurse.”

Eligible candidates need to be a registered nurse in good standing and affiliated with one of the following health systems: Kaiser Permanente, Scripps Health, Sharp HealthCare, Palomar Health or Rady Children’s Hospital.
