Shingles, unfortunately, is extremely common. One in three adults will contract the painful rash at some point in their lives, and the older you get, the more painful it tends to be. But there’s a new vaccine on the market called Shingrix that’s more effective against the condition caused by the chicken pox virus. It’s also believed that Shingrix will protect a person significantly longer than its predecessor. Read more about the new shingles vaccine here.
