TERI Players Present “Alice in Wonderland”

About the Event

The TERI Players will bring the whimsical world of Alice in Wonderland to life on May 7, 8, 14 and 15 in a vibrant theatrical production at The Bornemann Theatre on the TERI Campus of Life. In response to consistent sell-out crowds, the company will present four performances for the first time in its history.

The TERI Players are a dynamic ensemble of adults with special needs enrolled in the Center for the Arts program at TERI Campus of Life, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the quality of life for individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. Known for their fun and professional performances, the TERI Players have steadily grown in popularity as audiences from San Diego to Los Angeles and beyond discover the talent, humor, and heart these passionate performers bring to the stage.

Each ticket sold helps sustain TERI’s transformative opportunities for the special needs community as a nonprofit offering them independence, enrichment opportunities, and community connection.

In the TERI Players’ adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, audiences follow Alice, an inquisitive young woman whose ordinary afternoon turns extraordinary when she falls into a dreamlike journey through Wonderland. After drifting into sleep while listening to a fantastical tale read by her eccentric uncle, Alice finds herself chasing the mysterious White Rabbit into a strange and whimsical world.

Along the way, she encounters a cast of delightfully peculiar characters — including a philosophical Caterpillar, the mischievous Cheshire Cat, the unpredictable Mad Hatter, and a garden of lively dancing flowers. Alice’s surreal adventure eventually leads her to the chaotic court of the Queen of Hearts, where absurd rules and unpredictable behavior challenge her courage and imagination.
